Dalbergia bariensis

Very precious wood, hard, fine grain, quite brittle, easy to process, smooth, easy to polish, varnished, used to close high-end furniture such as beds, cabinets, tables and chairs, making handicrafts and decoration and mosaic tools.

Big timber trees, with umbrella shape, evergreen, up to 20 – 25 m high, 5 – 10m height under branches, Diameter of 0.5 – 0.6m. Gray shell, white or yellow spots, not cracked; bark of cassava-flavored, once-feathered double leaves, 15 – 18 cm long; 11 – 13 leaflets, lanceolate and imprisoned at 2 ends, smooth, 3 -5cm long; wide l, 5 – 2.5cm. The axillary inflorescence of the axils and the tip of the branch, hairless. The flowers are small, light blue, the beans are flat, 12cm longer, 2.5cm wide, slightly tied at the grain. Particle 1, rarely 2, kidney shaped, flattened, 9mm long, 6mm wide, light black.
